This is Renji from Bleach, more specifically, hair-down half-nekkid Renji holding the shikai form of Zabimaru. ;) Yes, it was specifically requested that Renji be half-nekkid so this tatoos are showing, and with hair down, and with the shikai form of Zabimaur. ^^; And of course, the tatoos are the most tedious part for this plushie, but I did enjoy doing the painting, the hard part is making the edges crisp and straight. And all his clothes are fully removable. Hehe. I enjoyed making the teeny tiny hakama immensely. Overall I think he turned out real well. :)

Thanks! :) I use all sorts of fabric, really depends on what the character needs. But I tend to go for types that doesn't fray too much. In this case, Renji's hair is Minky fur, skin is ultra suede, and clothing.... I'm not quite sure what it's called. ^^;

I bought half a yard of it a while ago at an fabric outlet store. It's way too expensive if not onsale. ^^; I heard other people use faux suede or doe suede for skin fabric, they might be cheaper.
